How I See It — My Place

Photographers' Statement:
Before this project, we didn’t have any real experience taking photographs, aside from “point and shoot” pictures. This project taught us to look at the world, our place, in new and different ways. We learned that the things we see every day and always took for granted are beautiful in their own ways. We learned how interesting it can be to look at things from different angles, new distances, alternate points of view. We aimed to tell our personal stories -- about our city, our family, our friends -- through photography, and we hope they shine through our pictures.
