Photographers' Statement:
Eight teenagers, librarian Melissa McCollum, and photographer Miles Scott walked the streets of Lawndale, California taking photographs of the area around the Lawndale Library bordered by Hawthorne Boulevard, Marine Avenue, Condon Avenue, and Rosecrans Avenue. We looked closely in every direction to see what we could find.
