Mendota
Photographers' Statement:
The purpose of this exhibit was to learn more about Mendota and show people what is in the town that they don’t often see. Modern-day Mendota reflects our Latino culture and our exhibit shows what people see, don’t see, and don’t want to see. Pan Dulce, traditional of our culture has transformed a historic building in our town into a panadería. We captured the beauty of Mendota because a lot of people don’t think Mendota has much beauty. We think people would like Mendota because there are a lot of interesting things that people don’t notice.
