Photographers' Statement:
My World, My Community was a thrilling experience. Throughout the project, we've met new friends from all parts of town, and we really bonded. Our goal was to go outside the norms of "tourist/sight-seeing" photos, and to encourage others to look deeper at life’s little peculiarities we often overlook. This project also gave us the chance to express our views of San José; our photos reflected our opinions of San José - a clean, simple, organized, yet trendy city. We hope that our viewers will enjoy these perspectives, and maybe look at some of what they see in San José a little differently as a result.
