Lives of undocumented California youth
“Life Under the Radar” will reveal the realities of life for undocumented young people living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Rigby will follow the teens through their daily routines — at home, at school, at work and with friends. At each step he will document their lives using still images and video and audio interviews to show the often harsh reality of living “without papers” as a young person in America.
The youths will also meet as a group with Rigby and others involved in the project to develop personal narratives, which they will later turn into spoken word and theatrical performances
Rigby’s documentary and the youths’ performances will be presented at a community gathering and discussion in February 2008.
