California Stories 2006-2007 Report
In 2001 the Council launched its California Stories initiative to use the power of stories to connect Californians, foster understanding among diverse groups and inspire people to work across divides to strengthen their communities. Since then, California Stories projects, now numbering in the hundreds, have been making a significant impact on California communities by bringing to light – often for the first time – thousands of stories that capture people’s imagination and spur engagement in civic life. Our newest report describes some of the Council’s accomplishments in 2006/2007 and how are projects are making a difference in California communities.
